About the Facility


The Theodore D. Young Community Center (TDYCC) facility is available for:

  • Baby showers
  • Birthday parties
  • Family gatherings
  • Meetings
  • Other events
  • Workshops

Rental Guidelines


  • All rentals in the TDYCC facility will be scheduled in four hour blocks. No additional time is allotted for set-up/breakdown.
  • All outdoor rentals (Pavilion/Yosemite Park) will be scheduled in six hour blocks. No additional time is allotted for set-up/breakdown.
  • All persons/organizations wishing to rent space must obtain a Town of Greenburgh Membership Card.
  • No drugs, alcohol or gambling is permitted.
  • There shall be no refunds paid unless the program/rental is cancelled by the department.

Rentals Include

  • Tables
  • 8 Foot Round (Seats 7 comfortably)
  • 6 Foot Rectangular
  • 8 Foot Rectangular
  • Chairs
  • Maintenance Staff Support
  • Pavilion rentals include the mentioned, the Pavilion area and the adjacent grill.

Insurance Requirement


Any organization wishing to use facility space within TDYCC, must obtain a Certificate of Insurance, which additionally insures the Town of Greenburgh with liability coverage for two million dollars per occurrence. This certificate, along with the necessary application, must be submitted to the Facility Coordinator’s office at least one month prior to the requested event/program date.

Rental Notes


Our Facilities are available for rental on Sundays. Additional charges will apply:
  • Maintenance Staff: $100 per four hour event
  • Front Desk/Reception Staff: $60 per four hour event
