5 X NY EMMY nominated XPOSURE FOUNDATION INC. Proudly Presents,
"
CLUBXUNIVERSITY.COM" an online
ELA/MATH Tutoring and Wellness program for children and youth in Grades 2-12.
INFO FOR PARENTS - A LITTLE ABOUT HOW CLUBXUNIVERSITY WORKS- Parents and students are interviewed by the CLUBXU team prior to admission.
- Upon acceptance students are given a grade level assessment (Powered by ACT). Day 1 is the Math assessment and Day 2 is the ELA Assessment. Students are assigned their own login and parents are also assigned their very own login to track their child's progress.
- The following week students are assigned an adaptive learning path based on their assessment results. The learning path is totally aligned to the common core standards. The learning path can also be aligned to the students ELA and MATH programs used in day school.
- ALL students are required to independently access their assigned learning path a minimum of 3 times per week, 30 minutes per session. The goal is to answer 30 questions correctly in ELA and 30 questions correctly in MATH. We strongly suggest students accomplish this goal at a set day/time during the week (Monday - Saturday). Weekend cramming is dissuaded.
- In approximately 2 weeks newly admitted students are matched with a tutor (CERTIFIED TEACHER) in MATH and ELA for 1:1 instruction time at least twice a week (1 hour ELA, 1 hour MATH) to work on skills they may be deficient in.
NOTE: Please keep in mind
1:1 tutoring sessions are in addition to the
independent learning path regimen outlined above.
- Each week parents are sent a personalized report via email of their child's progress along with a summary from our Assessment and Skill Building Coordinator.
- ClubXUniversity has its own Guidance Dept. staffed by competent Academic Support Specialists who are advocates for students they are assigned. Social/Emotional as well as Academic needs are routinely assessed.
