[ARCHIVED] Regeneron plans to expand in Greenburgh

Regeneron plans to expand in Greenburgh- a 200,000 sq ft building laboratory

Regeneron has been in the news recently. On Wednesday Regeneron announced that a 'study shows its monoclonal antibody cocktail works against coronavirus variants.'  We are pleased that the headquarters of this amazing company is located in Greenburgh and even more pleased to report that they are expanding--again!

At the Town Board work session on Wednesday, January 26th, the Board heard a presentation from Regeneron regarding their plans to expand within their existing Research and Development campus. A proposal for an approximately 200,000 sq. ft. building laboratory space expansion within the existing looped road is planned, along with a new structured parking deck. A prior approval in 2014 for a building in a similar location on the campus was previously approved but not built, as the company’s needs have evolved. This new project would complement a previously approved 1,000,000 sq. ft. R&D Campus expansion in the Town of Greenburgh, which has active approvals. An amended site plan process will begin with the Town Board when a formal application is received. Regeneron is the largest employer in the Town, with a campus that spans Greenburgh and the Town of Mt. Pleasant.
