TOWN TO HAVE ADDITIONAL BULK ITEM PICKUPS THIS COMING WEEK--MAKE YOUR APPOINTMENT TODAY ON LINE

LOOKING FOR TV ANGELS TO HELP REMOVE OLD TV'S FROM HOMES OF SENIORS AND DISABLED RESIDENTS

This week the town will be picking up bulk items (limit 2 per household) if you previously made an appointment. You can still make an appointment if you have bulk items that need to be picked up by clicking onto the following links:

https://widgets.recollect.net/r/area/GreenburghNY/waste?#  (the link is also on the town website www.greenburghny.com - home page)

ALSO  WE NEED TV ANGELS TO HELP SENIORS GET RID OF OLD TVS AND DROP THEM OFF AT HIGHWAY GARAGE

The town has never picked up  old TVs. Residents who have old TVs that need to be discarded can drop them off at the highway garage between the hours of  6:30 AM  and  3 PM Monday to Friday.  The address is 100 Old Sprain Road, Ardsley.

We used to have some TV angels who volunteered their time and picked up the TVs at homes of elderly and disabled residents. The TV angels did a fantastic job for a number of years but have since moved out of town. If you would like to become a TV angel please advise by e mailing me at pfeiner@greenburghny.com.

In the past, the TV angels did not charge for the service.  Some people who asked for the service are frail, elderly and on fixed incomes. Others may be able to pay for the service. However- if you are interested in offering the service for a fee you can also let us know and we will share the info with residents who contact us and who are able to pay.
