Library has program and free tutoring being offered (All this below) Although Greenburgh Town Hall is one election location - there are 40 other polling sites within the town of Greenburgh for tomorrows election. These are phone numbers you can call if you don't know where to vote tomorrow. Polls open 6 AM to 9 PM. The Bd of Elections sent out cards to voters in advance of tomorrows election advising of polling sites. Con Ed and DPW crews are working in the areas. NYSDOT has dispatched Verde electric to correct a condition at 9A and Jackson where a sign had blocked a signal head on the span wires.

Flu shots are free with most insurance. No one in need of a flu shot will be turned away if they cannot pay. However, with the newly increased rates of stress and isolation due to COVID-19, even more people than usual are finding it hard to attain a good night’s sleep. Dr. Shelby Harris will discuss sleep loss as a natural consequence of stress, including when you should consider making changes to your sleep, and what the various evidence-based options are to help you find sleep during tough times. Dr. Shelby's book, The Women’s Guide to Overcoming Insomnia is a roadmap for those who experience anything from occasional bad nights to chronic insomnia. It outlines several methods to overcome these issues and improve physical and emotional well- being. From medical sleep aids to nonmedical approaches. The book looks beyond the basics of sleep hygiene, helping women of all ages to retrain their bodies and minds for a good night’s sleep every night. About the author: Shelby Harris, PsyD, is in private practice in White Plains, NY where she specializes in the use of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) for anxiety and depression. She is board certified in Behavioral Sleep Medicine (BSM) by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and treats a wide variety of sleep disorders (insomnia, nightmares, circadian rhythm disorders, narcolepsy, apnea treatment noncompliance) using evidence-based non-pharmacological treatments.
