FINAL CENSUS RESULTS AND COMPARISONS WITH OTHER TOWNS, VILLAGES, CITIES
The final census results are in. And, Greenburgh did better than many other localities in Westchester. Thank you to everyone who responded! Check out the final results and compare Greenburgh with other communities. The census is conducted by the federal government every ten years. We had a higher response rate this year than we did in 2010 and 2000!
We had a great team made up of Greenburgh and county officials , civic leaders and residents working hard to encourage residents to participate in the census. This is important. Federal government financial assistance is based on US Census response rates. Every response means more grant dollars for the town, school district and first responders.
