Some residents have asked about the traffic light on Sprain & Ardsley Road. The light was installed a few weeks ago but is still not functioning.
There is a delay in the starting of the new traffic signal system at the intersection of Sprain Rd and Ardsley Rd. The consultant is making changes that are required to deal with the difficult sight distance issues. Once the consultant established the required changes, we will have a better assessment of the updated schedule. We want to make sure that when the light is working it's safe and is functioning properly. Better to be careful.
