[ARCHIVED] school taxes due 9/30--if you did not receive a bill this is what you should do

Some residents have complained that they haven't received their school tax bill in the mail. This is what you should do

The first half of the school taxes are due on September 30th. Some residents have been calling the tax office upset because they never received the bill in the mail. We have sent all taxpayers their school tax bills --it’s possible that the Postal Service did not deliver the bills to taxpayers.

If you did not receive the bill in the mail you can e mail receiver@greenburghny.com and the receiver will e mail a bill to you. The phone number of the Receiver of Taxes is 914-989-1550.

According to Receiver of Taxes Anne Povella you can also look online to see the amount due.

If you have a checking account you can pay your taxes on line at no extra cost.

Don’t forget to pay your school taxes.  The town has no oversight over any of the school districts, their taxes or budgets. Our only responsibility is to collect taxes for each of the school districts.
