HEATHERDELL ROAD BRIDGE UPDATE----temporary signals to be used to put traffic in one lane starting Tuesday
I spoke with the NYS Department of Transportation this past week about the work taking place at the Heatherdell Road bridge which many people use to get to Ardsley and to AF Veteran park pool from Ridge Road. The bridge is being repaired by the NYS Department of Transportion. They hope to complete the work by mid Ocdtober. This week they will use temporary signals to control traffic.
The temporary signals will be used to put traffic in one lane while the other lane is closed for repairs on the Heatherdell Rd bridge over the Sprain Brook Parkway at the intersection of Heatherdell Rd and Sprain Rd. Utilizing temporary signals will result in expediting completion of the deck work to avoid any further inconvenience or delays to the traveling public.
