Secretary Clinton talked about her career and provided advice and inspiration to the student interns. She answered questions. This is not the first time that Hillary Clinton has helped Greenburgh student interns. When Hillary was a US Senator some summer interns organized a charity bicycle ride from Hartsdale to Washington DC to raise funds (and awareness about stem cell research) for a Hartsdale Volunteer firefighter who fell off a bicycle and became severely disabled. We met with the Senator at the capitol in Washington. Senator Clinton also spoke at the Theodore Young Community Center and Greenburgh Health Center while a Senator and always responded quickly and efficiently to community concerns.
The 2020 Greenburgh summer internship is coordinated by Town Clerk Judith Beville. Assisting the Town Clerk - Tim Lewis, Town Attorney, Garrett Duquesne, Commissioner of Planning and myself. During the summer students interacted with other national and local leaders.
