UPDATE OUTAGES 300 OUT OF POWER... COVID NUMBERS IN UNINCORPORATED SLIGHTLY UP 31 ACTIVE CASES
There are currently, according to the Greenburgh police, about 300 Con Ed customers out of power in unincorporated Greenburgh. The areas still waiting for restoration are the ABC streets: Clayton, Ferndale Road/Mooreland/Clayton. Con Ed assigned crews that are on scene. Lynwood, parts of Edgemont Road -we are trying to escalate power restoration. Secor/Pine: Con ed assigned 2 North Carolina crews--wires still down. Parts of Harvard Drive- assigned to a crew.
Upset that everyone doesn’t have power back on as of late this afternoon. I hope Con Ed will be successful in restoring power tonight. The town doesn’t have control of Con Ed.
COVID NUMBERS IN GREENBURGH-slightly up in unincorporated
There was a slight increase in the COVID+ numbers in unincorporated Greenburgh. Currently, 31 active cases according to the county. 2 active cases in Hastings, 1 in Dobbs Ferry; 2 in Tarrytown; 0 in Ardsley; 2 in Elmsford; 2 in Irvington. Still- very low. But, should remind everyone to be very careful. Wear masks, practice social distancing. The crisis is not over and people are still dying of the illness in NYS and in Westchester. If you visit a restaurant, supermarket, business in Greenburgh and notice that social distancing/health measures are not being complied with please let me know and I will contact the management.
