Due to Tropical Storm Isaias, the DPW is temporarily relaxing the following regulations. These relaxed regulations expire on Friday, August 14th.
• Residents may drag tree branches, uncut and unbundled, to the curb. Private tree contractors are still required to haul away debris from their work.
• All extra food waste and 2 small items may be placed at the curb (3 feet away from the Town issued can) to be collected
• Residents will be allowed to dump organic waste at our Taxter Road site. Residents must show a copy of their license to prove they are Greenburgh residents.
o Contractors wishing to bring organic waste to the Taxter Road site MUST be escorted by the resident who can show a copy of their license
• Dumpsters will be located in the following locations for bulk item drop off this Saturday, August 15. Dumpsters will only be at these locations from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm on Saturday. Items may not be left at any other time. Residents are allowed to drop off up to two large items and must show ID for proof of residence.
o Locations: Rumbrook Park, Anthony F. Veteran Park, Payne Street (in front of Massaro Park), Town Hall, Webb Field
