Proud of the fact that the NY Times featured Hartsdale as one of 8 of the most desirable places for people to move to from the city
This past Sunday the NY Times ran a front page article highlighting 8 suburban communities they think people who want to move out of the city might love moving to. For the front page article in the Real Estate section the reporter, Julie Lasky "asked more than 20 real estate agents in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut to recommend places to move within two hours of NYC, based on different criteria -among them: school performance, population density, demographic diversity. The Times selected Hartsdale among the eight locations they featured! "It features young people and old people, gyms and parks, suburban tracts and downtown core." "Thousands of opportunities for one level living." "Proximity of Metro North station offering half hour trips to Grand Central terminal." The Times mentioned that in 2018 the financial technology company Smart Asset declared Hartsdale one of the 10 best places to retire in New York State."
Proud of this recognition. We’re going to work harder than ever to make all Greenburgh residents proud of their town and the services we offer. This article is great news for the town --more people from NYC will want to move here.
