MEET THE GREENBURGH STUDENT INTERNS -SUMMER 2020
Students introduce themselves to Greenburgh Town Board
Last week Greenburgh Town Clerk Judith Beville, Town Attorney Tim Lewis and I started our 12th annual summer internship program. Students meet Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday’s. This year there are about 45 students --all participating remotely via ZOOM. The students have already prepared public service announcements dealing with pedestrian and motorist safety. They interviewed David Kaplan of Irvington, who was a contributing editor at Newsweek and author of the Best selling book "The Most Dangerous Branch: Inside the Supreme Court’s Assault on the Constitution." The student interns met via zoom with the Police Chief, different Commissioners and other town officials. The student interns made a presentation to the Greenburgh Town Board on July 14th. This is a link to the televised presentation.
