When Ryan Pinerio learned that his 48 year old laundromat business would have to close he was disappointed. the landlord at the Greenburgh Multiplex theater decided not to renew leases of small businesses. The family run business had a loyal and grateful following. Instead of giving up the Pinerio family looked for another location and found a great place--near the Stop & Shop plaza in Tarrytown (unincorporated Greenburgh).

I hope that residents of Greenburgh will support new businesses like Launder Centers. We need to show small businesses that are trying hard in this difficult economy that our community is behind them. Info about the business with photos is below.

Launder Centers has opened a new 72 machine, 3000+ square foot self service laundromat in Tarrytown. Located within the Premier Plaza at 626 White Plains Road (behind Stop & Shop, 287 exit 1), this is one of the largest laundromats in Westchester. It is equipped with top of the line washers and dryers, ensuring customers can do their laundry in under an hour. Every machine accepts coin, credit card, debit card, and contactless mobil payments. It is a modern, spacious, clean, and safe place to do your laundry in peace. Drop off service is also available. Open 6AM-12AM, 365 days a year.

- FREE DRY JULY - Drying is FREE for the month of July.

This store was built as a replacement for a store that was originally located within the Greenburgh Mutliplex Cinema complex in Elmsford. After 48 years there, they were forced to close as the building was set for demolition by the landlord. This new store expands Launder Centers’ chain of Wash & Dry locations throughout Westchester County. Launder Centers is a small family owned, local business. With 50 years experience of operating laundromats in the area, this store represents the next generation of that legacy - providing all customers the highest quality laundry experience available.
