Greenburgh Public Library’s Systemic Injustice Resources, Newsletter & Family Book Discussion
Hello Mr. Feiner,
The Library has produced a
webpage as well as a
newsletter to assist community members searching for resources that address race, racism, privilege, and systemic injustice. We are also conducting a
Family Book Discussion on Jerry Craft’s award winning graphic novel
New Kid in August. (Unfortunately, we could not purchase copies of
Stamped: a Remix in time for a summer program because they are all sold out!)
New Kid is a very faced-paced and accessible work that ties in elements of race/racism, privilege, and identity and it is set in NYC!
If you find it appropriate, can you please share the
