Jared Rosenberg of Dobbs Ferry is a dedicated town employee. He heads our EMS division and is one of the first responders who is always ready to help others in an emergency. He oversees 30 EMS employees and works with all of our sworn personnel. Each year when people have medical related emergencies, traumatic accidents and now the battle against COVID-19 related incidents, the Greenburgh EMS team takes those who have medical problems to hospitals for treatment. Jared - in his spare time - volunteers and is head of the Dobbs Ferry Volunteer Ambulance Corp. He also is head of our CSEA union, Local 8215 advocating for about 200 of the employees who work for the town. Jared’s efforts have recently received recognition beyond Greenburgh. Jared is also helping us lobby for federal dollars to offset some anticipated revenue shortages we expect from COVID-19. The town Comptroller, Roberta Romano, previously estimated that the town could lose as much as 7 million dollars in revenue -sales tax, hotel tax, user and court fees, certiorari’s, ,mortgage tax, etc.. NYS, the county, every local government needs federal Stimulus grants to help us maintain services that you depend on. Here are two links We’re lucky to have dedicated employees like Jared rosenberg working for the town.
