COVID-19. A link to last week’s  WVOX radio program focusing on domestic violence and MY SISTER’S PLACE can be found below.  As shelter in place from the COVID pandemic continue, reports of violence in the home are increasing nationally. Contributing factors for this increase, such as job loss, tight finances and close proximity to partners and children.   It’s important to understand the challenges victims of domestic violence face, the injury and health effects of domestic violence and how to help victims.

Tomorrow, from 10 AM to 11 AM I will be interviewing Marie Considine and Sharon McCarthy of NAMI on WVOX radio (1460 AM or www.wvox.com) from 10 AM to 11 AM. The focus will be on Mental Health.
