Received an e mail from H Mart on Central Ave in Hartsdale. They have started taking the temperature of their employees before each shift & implementing safety measures.

Two days ago I issued an emergency order with guidelines for supermarkets to follow that are located within the town of Greenburgh. I indicated that when I extend the order next week I am inclined to add another requirement: that supermarkets take the temperature of employees before they start to work. I am very pleased to report that H Mart in Hartsdale has already started to test employees temperature. I believe that their action will reduce anxiety among shoppers and could save lives.
I will continue to report proactive measures taken by supermarkets/pharmacies in Greenburgh to keep all of us safe and healthy. Thank you H Mart!
