Last week the Town Board held its first Zoom-enabled meetings (work session 3/24 and regular meeting 3/25) which were available for residents to watch live-stream on the Town of Greenburgh website, and live via Cable Access TV Channel 76 and Fios 35. For the Town Board’s regular meeting, there was a public hearing and public discussion component which residents participated in. These types of meetings allow the Board’s, residents, applicants and Town staff to safely and remotely participate during the COVID pandemic.
The Town Board will hold a work session this evening at 6:00pm. The Hartsdale Assisted Living Facility proposal at the former Maplewood Swim Club property will be discussed. The applicant is presently before the Planning Board as part of a referral from the Town Board. The applicant will make a presentation to the Town Board this evening providing an update on the process and discussing modifications to the proposal since the time of the prior referral. This discussion is not a public hearing. The Town Board, Planning Board, and Zoning Board each will each conduct a public hearing process at a date to be determined. Following the work session, a special meeting of the Town Board is scheduled.
The Planning Board will conduct its regularly scheduled meeting on Wednesday, April 1st using the same Zoom platform, and will available to be viewed live using the same options noted above. Following the meeting, those additionally wishing to view it will be able to do so via the Town meeting archive, and re-run airings on Cable Access TV and Fios.
Please note that the Planning Board meeting on April 1st will be held at a special 2:00pm time. This Planning Board meeting does not have any public discussions or public hearings scheduled. Future Planning Board meetings will have a public hearing and/or public discussion component with options available for residents to participate.
