If you wish to register to participate in the meeting using Zoom, the Town Board and staff have been working out the details.
The COVID-19 Pandemic has created challenges for everyone. We mourn those who have succumbed to the unrelenting virus and work to help reduce its spread. We all have a responsibility to slow "community spread" of the virus. Therefore, there are no public gatherings in Greenburgh Town Hall. This raises another challenge: how do we hold the public hearings on our Town Board agenda remotely? We are going to use the "Zoom" platform. If you want to watch this evening’s Greenburgh Town Board meeting, you may watch live or the archived video via the Town’s Web site, www.GreenburghNY.com, or you may watch via cable TV as usual: Channel 76 on Altice (formerly Cablevision) and Channel 35 on Verizon/FiOS. Those viewing opportunities have not changed.
If you wish to register to participate in the meeting using Zoom, the Town Board and staff have been working out the details. (You may create your own Zoom account, if you don’t already have one, for free at https://zoom.us/freesignup/.) Please email PublicHearing@GreenburghNY.com if you want to speak or provide a written comment (up to five minutes) related to a Public Hearing topic. State which hearing(s) in the email. Please email PublicComment@GreenburghNY.com if you want to speak or provide written comment (up to three minutes) during Public Comment. If you have a statement you want read, please include the statement with your email. In addition to emailing the above email addresses so we know to call on you during the meeting, you should register to speak via Zoom at:
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
These details were stated on the Town Board agenda posted on the Town’s Web site but they are repeated here for your convenience.
Please stay safe, stay distant, stay healthy. Together we will get through this.
Francis Sheehan, Councilman
Town of Greenburgh
