Report from each department head re: town services provided during COVID-19 Pandemic

TOWN OF GREENBURGH TOWN BOARD MEETING Wednesday, March 25, 2020, 7:30 PM  The COVID-19 Pandemic has created challenges for everyone.  We all have a responsibility to slow "community spread" of the virus.  Therefore, there will be no public gathering in Town Hall for this meeting or our work sessions.  This raises another challenge: how do we hold the public hearings on the agenda remotely?  We are going to use the "Zoom" platform.  If you want to watch the meeting, you may do so via the Town’s Web site or via cable TV as usual as mentioned below.  However, if you wish to register to speak at the meeting using Zoom, the Town Board and staff have been working out the details. (You may create your own Zoom account if you don’t have one for free at https://zoom.us/freesignup/.)   Please email PublicHearing@GreenburghNY.com if you want to speak or provide a written comment (up to five minutes) related to a Public Hearing topic.  State which hearing(s) in the email.  Email PublicComment@GreenburghNY.com if you want to speak or provide written comment (up to three minutes) during Public Comment.  If you have a statement you want read, please include the statement with your email.  For Zoom participation, you will be contacted with further instructions.  Special thanks to Councilman Francis Sheehan for his hard work overseeing the transition to Zoom Town Board meetings.  Agenda’s for Town Board meetings are posted on the town website: www.greenburghny.com
