CORONVIRAS --YOU CAN CALL IN AND PARTICIPATE AT TONIGHT’S TOWN BD MEETING BY PHONE. TOWN BD TO SET UP VIDEO CONFERENCING, COMMUNITY MEETINGS IN NEAR FUTURE

Because of the coronavirus - we encourage residents to participate at the public comment portion of the meeting and the public hearing portion of tonight’s Town Board meeting by phone. E mail the townclerk@greenburghny.com (copy the townboard@greenburghny.com) or call 989 1500/01 if you would like to speak at either the public portion of the meeting or at the hearings that  are scheduled.  You can also submit written comments that we will read.  We will call you in the order of requests.  We prefer that you make your request in advance of the meeting. But, I will check e mails during the Board meeting so if you have a last minute request to participate by phone you can participate.

We are in the process of interviewing companies that provide video conferencing and anticipate that we will shortly set up a video conferencing initiative for community meetings, Town Board meetings so people can participate from the comforts of their home.  We expect to schedule some video conferencing meetings with neighborhood civic groups in the near future. BE HEALTHY AND SAFE. AVOID CROWDS until the coronaviras crisis passes.  We want to test out the system to make sure everything works correctly before going live.

Wednesday evening March 11th the Town Board of the Town of Greenburgh will hold a Public Hearing to consider an amended site plan application by Lewis Masters Holdings, LP (the “Applicant”), for a project consisting of the demolition of an existing 42,000 sq. ft. multiplex cinema and a separate multi-level retail building, and the construction of a new 75,711 ShopRite grocery store and 13,765 sq. ft. additional retail building and associated site grading, parking and amenities at a site located at 320 Saw Mill River Road, P.O. Elmsford (also known and designated on the tax assessment map of the Town as Parcel ID: 7.120-19-25), located in the DS Designed Shopping District.
