Want to have a say in the 2020 presidential elections? In New York State, if you want to vote in any party’s 2020 primary, you must be registered in that party by February 14.
2020 is set to be a record year for voter participationt; but in New York State half of all voters will be kept out of the process due to our closed primaries. Only voters registered in a party can vote in that party’s Primary Election; which means that only 46% of New York voters will be allowed to cast a vote in this year’s presidential Primary Election.
You can change your registration but have to do so by February 14th. The Board of Elections must receive the voter registration change by Feb 14th.
News 12 has highlighted the creative shoe drive being organized by the Highview School PTA. You can drop off shoes at Greenburgh Town Hall and help the schools and the children!
