[ARCHIVED] Volunteers wanted for Million Meal project on 11/18 and 11/19

Helping package and distribute 1 million meals.

The Million Meal Project is back with a couple big fall events in the community in Edgemont on 11/18 and Ardsley on 11/19.  This is a fantastic initiative organized by the Blumberg family in Edgemont.  Their goal: packaging and distributing 1 million meals  to families in need all over the world.

The Million Meal Project is back!  After an incredibly successful first 12 months that included 14 events in our community and over 325,000 meals packed, the project has two big Thanksgiving season events in the community.  Please join your neighbors and friends in Edgemont on 11/18 or Ardsley on 11/19 for a couple hours of fun, high energy work that will help fight food insecurity around the world.

This is a great opportunity for children to learn the importance of giving back.  Families that participate will have an amazing experience --and lots of fun too.

Greenburgh Town Supervisor
