Dobbs Ferry is a charming village within the town For seven nine years one of the traditions in the community has been the annual spaghetti dinner at Sacred Heart & Our Lady of Pompeii Parish. The church is located at 95 Palisade Street near the spectacular Hudson River.
The spaghetti and meatballs are homemade. Bread, salad and dessert included. The event starts at 1 and continues to 6 PM. The spaghetti is delicious, the finest ingredients used. Some people say it's the best pasta one could enjoy outside of Italy! And the dinner is the closest thing that I've experienced to old warm charm. It's so easy in our daily interactions to feel fast paced. Our world today makes it difficult to connect with others in a memorable way. At this dinner you'll get a chance to talk to neighbors, enjoy a great meal and help continue a great tradition. I once said that you don't have to be Jewish to love Rye bread. You don't have to be of the Catholic faith to love delicious spaghetti at an amazing spaghetti dinner.
