COMMUNITY MEETING WITH TOWN BOARD AND POLICE CHIEF TUESDAY AT 6 PM AT TOWN HALL
The Greenburgh Town Board will discuss with the community and Police Chief concerns residents have about traffic safety and additional traffic safety measures to be taken related to East Hartsdale Ave this Tuesday, September 5th at 6 PM at Greenburgh Town Hall. The community is invited to attend the meeting in person or via zoom. If you would like to speak at the meeting via zoom please e mail PublicComment@GreenburghNY.com.
Many residents of Greenburgh and the entire Town Board are devastated by the loss of life that happened last Saturday when Stephanie Kavourias was the victim of a hit and run accident. We are organizing, in honor and in memory of Stephanie Kavourias a vigil on East Hartsdale Ave beginning at 8 PM. The one hour vigil will take place along the sidewalks on East Hartsdale Ave where the apartments are located. THere will be no speeches. Bring candles or a flash light. You can create signs or banners or pay silent respect to Stephanie. Stephanie was a highly respected community leader - the former manager of the Hartsdale Parking District, a former member of the Planning Board, the leader of her apartment complex. A woman who helped many residents of the town and who is greatly missed.
