A TESTIMONIAL FROM COMMUNITY ACTIVIST MURRAY BODIN ABOUT THE NEW FARMERS MARKET ON ELM AND MANHATTAN AVE--EVERY SATURDAY 9 AM to 2 PM
A new Greenburgh farmers market serves our community on Manhattan Ave and Elm. Murray Bodin, a community activist who has been a frequent critic of town government isn't critical at all when it comes to the Greenburgh farmers market. The market is open every Saturday from 9 AM to 2 PM. Murray praises the tomatoes, pickles and delicious produce. Read his review here. PAUL FEINER
Paul,
The food we got at the Farmers Market yesterday was the first real food taste we’ve had in years! Tomatoes that reminded be of what they really taste like. Pickles that remind me of the ones we used to get in the Lower East side. Cookies like they should taste, from the young (70?) lady who made them. Watermelon, radishes, zucchini, jar of mixed nuts (we love them!).
This is just to let you know it was nice to have real food again.
