VOLUNTEERS WANTED FOR MILLION MEAL PROJECT IN EDGEMONT AND IRVINGTON
We are so excited about our progress so far…since launching the Million Meal Project back in October, we have packed and distributed over 150,000 meals! And with five events left to go this school year, we are likely going to get to 250,000 meals in a single school year. Go Greenburgh!
Our final big community events of the year will be on Sunday, June 4 at the EHS San Marco Gym in Edgemont and Sunday, June 11 at Dow’s Lane Cafeteria in Irvington. We will have several shifts and hope to get 400-500 volunteers at each of the two events.
Can we ask you to promote both events in an email or two? Here is a blurb you can use:
The Million Meal Project is back. Come with your family and friends to pack meals to help fight global food insecurity. Our final events of the school year are on Sunday, June 4 at Edgemont High School San Marco gym (click here to volunteer or donate), and on Sunday, June 11 at Dow’s Lane Elementary School Cafeteria in Irvington(click here to volunteer or donate), with three shifts at each event during the day. We hope to see you there!
Of course, you’re more than welcome to join us at either or both events to pack some meals, too.
Thanks so much,
The Blumbergs
