[ARCHIVED] Saw Mill River Road in Ardsley will be repaved by NYS next week-Hillside later this month

Dobbs Ferry Festa tomorrow

Over a year ago 36 student interns working with Town Attorney Tim Lewis, Town Clerk Judith Beville and I organized a successful effort lobbying NYS to repave Saw Mill River Road. The students met with state officials, organized an on line petition, invited the Regional Director of the NYS Department of Transportation to meet with them. Their efforts were publicized in the local media. The DOT promised to repave the road - and the promise will be kept. Saw Mill River Road should be repaved beginning next week. This is great news. We anticipate that Hillside Ave, another state road, will be repaved in late October or early November.
