Subject: Sugestions for the movie company at hartsdale train station
Can we ask the producers not to film tomorrow or Friday? To schedule a date next week? We should use the digital boards and provide adequate advance notice. I think we should reach out to the film production company - and ask them to do something for the commuters --have free breakfast or snacks during the filming for commuters, as an example. People missed appointments, got to work late, were greatly inconvenienced. And, are very mad. Can you provide me with contact info for the production people so I can reach out to them tomorrow morning.
IN the future - before any film contract is approved that could impact many residents - the Town Board should be consulted. What happened today was totally unacceptable.

How is it that the Parking Authority can make such a decision with the town's knowledge. This must be addressed in a way that residents are made aware of such disruptions well in advance and accommodations need to made for the disruption.
This morning and evening's commute near the train station was a nightmare.

Just got off the phone with the Greenburgh police. No filming at the Hartsdale train station tomorrow. But, there could be filming on Friday. The movie company contracted with the Hartsdale Parking Authority, not the town and the parking authority was paid by the producers for the use of the train station.I am very unhappy with what happened. Although some notice was provided to some people- many commuters were not advised before today that there would be major disruptions during rush hour (AM and PM) creating major quality of life inconveniences. We have to make sure that this never happens again. More notice needs to be provided to commuters. There should have been some public discussion regarding the benefits and negatives of this filming before every commuter was inconvenienced. I did not receive proper advance notification so was unable to communicate what was going to happen.Sorry. We need to learn from this experience.PAUL FEINER
