If you love to run (or even walk) and if you missed the NYC marathon you are in luck. There are some great local races you and your family will enjoy this weekend. Vikas Agrawal, an Ardsley School Board member advises that the Agrawal Foundation is sponsosring a 5k RAce/Run Sunday November 20th at 11 AM at the Concord Road School in Ardsley. Another great race on Sunday is the scenic 2.5 mile race in Irvington. Peter K. Oley organized the race in 1978 and it's been held every year since that time. The race starts by the Dows Lane Elementary School looping up through the village and finishing just off the Aqueduct in Memorial Park. Some hills, some roads, some dirt and some grass and lots of fun.
