[ARCHIVED] Fantastic Turkey trots if you want to take a run this weekend and on Thanksgiving

Ardsley and Irvington are locations for 2 great local races this weekend

If you love to run (or even walk) and if you missed the NYC marathon you are in luck. There are some great local races you and your family will enjoy this weekend.  Vikas Agrawal, an Ardsley School Board member advises that the Agrawal Foundation is sponsosring a 5k RAce/Run Sunday November 20th at 11 AM at the Concord Road School in Ardsley. The foundation will donation the proceeds from the race to the High School Research program.  AgrawalFoundation5KRunWalk

Another great race on Sunday is the scenice 2.5 mile race in Irvington. Peter K. Oley organized the race in 1978 and it's been held every year since that time. The race starts  by the Dows Lane Elementary School looping up through the village and finishing just off the Aqueduct in Memorial Park. Some hills, some roads, some dirt and some grass and lots of fun. Peter was a longtime coach in Irvington and helped create the race which has now been named for him.  https://runsignup.com/RaceNY/Irvington/PeterKOleyTurkeyTrot

There are other races around the county on Thanksgiving and during the weekend. Have fun. Stay healthy and have a great holiday week.
