We have an active water main break impacting much of Hartsdale. I spoke with the Commissioner of Public Works. They have identified the cause and are taking steps to make the repairs necessary. It's a big break so residents may experience brown water. Leave the water running for 20 minutes or so if you experience brown water. After a break - if that is done - the water clears up.
On another matter - want to remind you that if your garbage is usually picked up on Thursday the garbage will be picked up today. IF garbage is picked up on Friday it will be picked up on Thursday. Veterans day (Friday) is a holiday.
