2 meetings: Monday: Ft Hill Road proposed traffic light at 8 PM….a walk on North Washington Ave Wed at 5:30 PM….bids due for new sidewalk on Central Ave from Marion to W  Hartsdale Ave October 8 (work to start this fall)

As part of our efforts to create a sidewalk on N. Washington Ave., we have scheduled a walk on N. Washington Avenue for:

Wednesday, September 25th at 5:30 PM

We will meet on N. Washington near the intersection of Central Ave. where there is existing sidewalk. Some parking will be available at Montaage, if needed.

If you can’t attend the meeting but have concerns or questions, feel free to email me or send me a note and we will discuss your concerns during the walk with town engineers who will be involved in the planning process.  Many residents have asked for a sidewalk on N Washington Ave. The purpose of the walk is to discuss with residents where the sidewalk will be located and what action steps have to be taken to make a sidewalk happen at this location.

FT HILL ROAD PROPOSED TRAFFIC LIGHT MEETING – Monday, September 23rd  8 PM  Greenville school. We will hear from Brian Dempsey, partner/senior project manager Provident design Engineering, the traffic consultants contracted by the town to review the current conditions at the Fort Hill Road/Ardsley Road intersection.

UPDATE: SIDEWALK CENTRAL AVE –MARION TO WEST HARTSDALE Ave---The town received a grant to build a sidewalk on Cenetral Ave from Marion Ave to West Hartsdale Ave. We have issued a request for proposals which will is due on October 8 at 2 PM. We expect that the construction of the sidewalk will start this fall. A major pedestrian safety improvement!
