Cricket tournament this Sunday, September 22nd at Richard Presser Park, 218 N Central Ave, Hartsdale . This is an opportunity to observe cricket being played at Westchester’s first cricket field. They expect games to start by 8 AM and the finals will take place at 5 PM followed by an awards ceremony by 6:30 PM. It’s my hope that other officials from around the county will attend, observe and consider doing what Greenburgh did—creating a cricket field in their community or school district. Cricket is the world’s second most popular sport.
