A site visit to review at Scarsdale Golf Club Friday at noon to review a proposal to place netting at Golf Club
Please take notice that, the Town Board, Zoning Board of Appeals, and Planning Board of the Town of Greenburgh will be meeting on Friday, July 22, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. (noon) at the front entrance to the Scarsdale Golf Club clubhouse, 1 Club Way, P.O. Hartsdale, to conduct a site visit related to a proposal for safety netting along the existing driving range. The Applicant additionally proposes the installation of temporary seasonal enclosures around two (2) existing lower tennis courts, and safety netting in the vicinity of the 16th hole on the course. At the locations of the proposed four poles for the safety netting in the vicinity of the driving range, balloons will be floated at a height equivalent to highest point of the proposed poles, to provide a representation of the locations and potential viewsheds of the proposed netting structure. The balloons will be floated for a period from approximately 10:00am – 2:00pm on Friday, the day of the site visit (7/22). All interested persons are invited to attend said site inspection, for the purpose of observation.
This is a public meeting. I have invited representatives of the Greenburgh Nature Center and the Greenburgh Forestry Officer to attend to review issues raised by residents of E Hartsdale Ave.
