online tax payments- if you paid your bill on line this weekend and were assessed a penalty it will be refunded. YOu won't be assessed a penalty as long as you pay your taxes by midnight tonight
You have till 11:59 PM to pay your town/county/fire district taxes. There was a problem with the software. Some residents advised me that when they paid their taxes online they were assessed a penalty.
The website is no longer charging penalties, they have until 11:59Pm to pay. Greenburgh Town Hall is open till 7 PM today if you prefer to pay in person.
Any penalties on taxes paid on line before midnight today will be refunded. Online tax payments can be made by clicking on to the tax department website on www.greenburghny.com
