Received this e mail about a concert taking place a week from Sunday to support the people of Ukraine. Some local residents will be performing. This is an opportunity to heaer the Ukrainian Chorus DUMKA of New York in person (they were featured on Saturday Night Live) and to support an important cause helping the innocent victims of the Ukraine.  Dr. Liteplo will speak at the Greenburgh Town Board meeting this Wednesday night at 7:30 PNM.

I am forwarding this link to you about a Benefit Concert for Ukraine to take place on Sunday, March 27, 2022 at Tarrytown Music Hall for general distribution to town residents.  I am a 40+year resident of Greenburgh and a active member of the Ukrainian Chorus DUMKA of New York (of recent SNL fame) and will be performing at this event, as will several other residents of Greenburgh.  The featured piano soloist, Ms. Portenko, a world-renowned musician and concert organizer is a resident of Dobbs Ferry.
As a lifelong Ukrainian-American citizen, I , and countless compatriots living in the greater Westchester area, urge you and other elected officials from Town and County Government and all residents of Westchester to come out and show your support for Ukraine in her greatest time of need.  You will not be disappointed, and it will warm your heart to share this experience.  For your information, a similar benefit concert will be performed at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall two days later on Tuesday, March 29, 2022.  Tarrytown has the honor of premiering this event.
