A new sidewalk will be built on Lawton Ave in Hartsdale. Construction will start on Tuesday and should last about 5 weeks. This sidewalk will enable pedestrians to safely walk from E Hartsdale Ave to Columbia Ave (new sidewalk was just recently completed) to Sacred Heart Church and Central Ave. We’re excited about our efforts to make Greenburgh a more pedestrian friendly community. About 6 miles of new sidewalks have been built or funded in recent years in unincorporated Greenburgh.
