The Greenburgh Neighborhood Health Center is always there for our community when we need them!
The Greenburgh Neighborhood Health Center is giving vaccines/booster shots to Greenburgh residents today (Wednesday) from 10 AM to 3 PM. They will again give out booster shots on Monday. NO APPOINTMENT IS NECESSARY. They will continue to provide this service in the coming weeks on Monday's and Wednesday's. The center is located at 295 Knollwood Road Whites Plains (across from the Greenburgh Library) and their phone is 989 7600.
I stopped by at the Health Center on Monday to observe the process. Many residents of Greenburgh were getting their booster shots --and very appreciative that the Health Center is offering this service to those who need the vaccines or boosters. Some people had mentioned that some pharmacies require appointments and it's difficult to get immediate booster shots.
Because the Health Center accepts walk in's - there could be some minor inconveniences (like waiting). And you will have to complete some paper work. And after you get your booster you will be less stressed about the variants and about Covid. Everyone who I spoke with on Monday was pleased with the Health Center and their staff. Your good health is important to all of us. It's our hope that more residents will become aware of the good work that the Health Center provides the community with.
