The Fairview Empowerment Group, if you haven’t already heard, is a community group that’s been meeting – and welcoming more public participation and members – working toward the following mission: to create opportunities within the Fairview neighborhood by amplifying community voices to improve living, economic and social conditions.
The FEG has so far hosted two in a series of public forums gathering community ideas and presenting information on various economic empowerments options on the table for the Fairview commercial corridor. The second forum focused on a presentation on various cooperative models from Delia Marx, of Westchester Cooperative Network.
