COVID-19 restrictions at Town Board meeting announced. Blocking off every other row. Every other seat. Citizens must register to attend live meeting. Or, participate bly zoom.
The Greenburgh Town Board decided to adopt the following COVID-19 restrictions for all future Town Board meetings (while the pandemic continues). Our next meeting is this Monday, November 22nd at 7:30 PM.
Those who wish to attend have to register in advance:

We will restrict attendance in our auditorium to fewer people to reduce the possibility of the spread of COVID-19. . Everyone must wear masks. We will block off every other row in the auditorium . Every other seat will also be blocked off. Everyone else who wishes to participate at meetings will be able to participate by zoom. We will ask those who enter the auditorium to take their temperature in the lobby. If you wish to participate remotely please e mail publiccomment@greenburghny.com. Our meetings are always streamed live on the website: greenburghny.com.
I continue to believe that only those who are vaccinated should be allowed to attend our live Town Board meetings. Non vaccinated should participate remotely. That recommendation has not yet been adopted by the Town Board and will be discussed again at our work session on Tuesday.
