FEMA, VACCINES AND EARLY VOTING: ---FLU SHOTS, VACCINES BOOSTERS ON OCTOBER 26 and OCTOBER 30 AT TOWN HALL
Three important updates for Greenburgh residents this week and next
_FEMA representatives are back at the Greenburgh Public Library to help residents affected by Hurricane Ida file damage claims. Support will be available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday Oct. 19, Wednesday Oct. 20 and Thursday Oct. 21. Please note the deadline to apply for FEMA aid is November 5. The Greenburgh Public Library is located at 300 Tarrytown Road, Elmsford.
_The Greenburgh Neighborhood Health Center will be administering both Covid-19 vaccines (and boosters) and flu shots from a mobile unit parked in the Greenburgh Town Hall parking lot during two early voting days: Tuesday, Oct. 26 from 12 noon to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 30 from 12 noon to 5 p.m. Town Hall is located at 177 Hillside Ave., White Plains. Some residents have asked for an outdoor location to take these shots. Very grateful to the Health Center for this service
_Finally, early voting is an easy option for residents at either Greenburgh Town Hall or Dobbs Ferry Village Hall. Dates and times starting this Saturday are as follows:
- Saturday, Oct. 23, 2021 from noon until 5 p.m.
- Sunday, Oct. 24, 2021 from noon until 5 p.m.
- Monday, Oct. 25, 2021 from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
- Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2021 from noon until 8 p.m.
- Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2021 from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
- Thursday, Oct. 28, 2021 from noon until 8 p.m.
- Friday, Oct. 29, 2021 from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
- Saturday, Oct. 30, 2021 from noon until 5 p.m.
- Sunday, Oct. 31, 2021 from noon until 5 p.m.
