[ARCHIVED] last day tomorrow -non appointment bulk pickup

If you have flood related debris that have to be picked up and you don't want to make an appointment, the debris must be left in front of your curb by tomorrow at 7 AM. After Friday appointments must be made.

The Town of Greenburgh Bureau of Sanitation is still working to collect bulk items damaged during last week’s storm. If you have damaged furniture, carpeting, or appliances you need to dispose of, please place it to the curb by 7 AM Friday , September 10th. Our crews will be doing pickups until Friday afternoon. Any debris that is not placed curbside in time for these pickups must be scheduled for the next available pickup. Residents can schedule appointments for bulk metal and non-metal items at this link: https://widgets.recollect.net/r/area/GreenburghNY/waste?#

Please be aware that the Town of Greenburgh DOES NOT pickup construction debris, such as sheetrock, insulation, tile, etc. If you have construction debris you need to dispose of, please contact a licensed private transfer station or processing facility. Here is a list of facilities within the Westchester County area that will accept construction debris: https://www.westchestergov.com/swc/licensed-private-transfer-stations-and-processing-facilities

Our sanitation crews deserve our thanks for working so hard during the past week picking up heavy bulk items throughout the town. They did an exceptional job--a very difficult job.
