Many congregants who attend services have the First Community Church of the Nazarene have family or friends who live in Haiti. The congregation is working hard trying to help victims of the horrible earthquake that has caused death and suffering to many. Please help. Info below:

Firstly, we are accepting monetary donations. Please make your checks payable to "FCCN" and in the memo section of the check write " HAITI RELIEF". You can send your check to First Community Church of the Nazarene, 2101 Saw Mill River Road, White Plains, NY 10607 OR you can go to our website at www.firstcommunitynaz.org and click on the "egiving" section , identify the donation "HAITI RELIEF".
Secondly, we are collecting Crisis Care Kits to ship to Haiti. Below are the items that are needed for these kits. You can drop off the items at the church (see address above). Please call the church at 914-347-2601 before you come. You can either pack the kits yourselves or purchase the items and drop them off by the church and we will pack the kits.
NOTE: It is very important that the exact size and number of items are placed in each package because of strict shipping requirements.
CRISIS CARE KITS Shopping List •
1 Shampoo (12 to 18 oz.) • 2 Bars of Soap (Bath size or larger) • 1 Toothpaste (4.0 to 6.4 oz.) • 3 Toothbrushes (in original packaging) • 1 Box of Bandaids (30 or more) • 1 Fingernail clipper • 1 Sturdy hair comb • 2 Hand towels • 4 Pocket-sized pkgs. Kleenex • 1 Beanie Baby-sized stuffed toy
Each Crisis Care Kit (CCK) should contain only the items/quantities listed. Place all items into a 2-gallon zip-lock bag
