HELP STOCK THE CARING CUPBOARD AT GREENBURGH HEALTH CENTER WITH FOOD ITEMS, CANS DRIED FOOD, HOUSEHOLD GOODS AND TOILETRIES)
MIDDLE SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS ORGANIZING INITIATIVE - HOW YOU CAN GET INVOLVED
We are pleased to announce the launch of the second Caring Cupboard at the Greenburgh Health Center (295 Knollwood Rd, White Plains) on July 23rd. The cupboard launch was attended by the Greenburgh town supervisor, Mr. Paul Feiner. The opening ceremony was led by high and middle school students - Tanya Shukla, Ananya Shukla, Anna O'Hanlon and Nikita Pisupati. A number of other youth members have been involved behind the scenes in setting up the cupboard and ensuring a smooth operation. The Cupboard is stocked with shelf-stable food items (cans, dried food, and other non-perishable food items), household goods, and toiletries (toothpaste, water bottles, can openers, etc) and is open to the public Mon-Fri, 9am - 6:30pm. The cupboard is run through monetary and material donations made by the public and local businesses. The public could drop off the donations at the same location.
