The historic Odell House is now being restored and will an important destination point for those who are fascinated by our nations history. Key decisions were made at this house which led to the conclusion of the Revolutionary War.
Congratulations to Susan Seal on being honored by the Westchester County Historical Society and the County of Westchester for her work saving the historic Odell House on Ridge Road which is being preserved and will eventually be turned into a museum.
This house played a very important role in American history. George Washington & Rochambeau made key decisions which led to the successful conclusion of the Revolutionary War. The house played a role in our nation's successful struggle for freedom during the Revolutionary War.
The house had deteriorated prior to the town acquiring the property in 2020. The Friends of Odell House has been providing the town with critical assistance in our efforts to preserve and restore the proeprty.
