About Us

There are 19 square miles that comprise the unincorporated area of the town (outside the 6 villages) for which the Greenburgh Department of Parks and Recreation provides leisure services. According to the 2010 census, there are over 45,000 residents in the unincorporated area of Greenburgh.

The Town’s Parks and Recreation Department along with the Department of Community Resources serve the residents of the Unincorporated Town of Greenburgh.

What We Provide

Greenburgh Parks and Recreation Department provides opportunities for the Greenburgh unincorporated community to connect our whole community to wellness, the outdoors, and lifelong learning. We strive to help residents discover, explore and enjoy life through creative and challenging recreational choices that contribute to their physical, emotional and social health.
